Ruth Garratt Baker 
Watercolour Artist and Teacher

Ruth has been painting and drawing for most of her life and gained a BA (Hons) in Illustration from the University of Brighton in 1998. Ruth began her earlier career as a midwife and has been working in the NHS in various professional roles including Occupational Therapy for 20+ years. 

As a teacher she feels that her role is to encourage the outward expression of people's natural inner creativity, held within their bodies and minds.

Ruth seeks to provide an environment where participants are able to explore and flourish through participation and engagement in the process of painting and drawing.
